Anything in the 450 or 500 is crazy. Not a whole lot to do with that round next to having a heavy hitting SD round. The rate of drop and recoil on those rounds is ridiculous. Lets not even talk about cost of ammo so having a little cache is out of the question. I am with @Plinker66 though. The 6.8 isn't exactly a crazy round but it is a great SBR round. However we aren't talking rational thought here just all out crazy builds.

They have lowers out there now that will accommodate the 30-06 and 300 win mag rounds in the AR10 platform. Now those would be a crazy builds. Talking about recoil and hard hitting.

Well I would suggest just a normal versatile round. Something somewhat inexpensive to shoot. Something that will handle close quarters and will have some range. I guess the 300 BO, 6.8 or the 6.5 Grendel. Then if you don't like those then go **** yourself. LOL 458 socom sounds good. Saw that mentioned in an earlier post.
