Ok guys, ya'll play nice out there. My 22 year old 5'4' 110lb daughter just bought a Honda 1100. I'm sleeping bad enough without worrying about somebody throwing coffee!!

I ride my bike because I enjoy riding my bike, not because I like to be a criminal or do stupid things. With that being said, if the asshole in front of me is driving 10 under the limit and wont move over or is texting and weaving or just driving like a moron overall you bet Im going to split a lane or take the bike lane to pass him. If you dont like it, dont drive like a tool. If you think its worth throwing coffee on me, be prepared to do it while we are both stopped a red light because thats where its going to end anyway.

What about just riding in the bike lane? Saw a guy on sugerloaf Sunday doing that for at least a mile or two until I couldn't see him anymore.

and for the record.. i have never thrown coffee or opened a door on anyone, let alone a motorcyle person. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff! and remember! its ALL small stuff!

besides... if they want to split lanes in a state where it is illegal and therefore none of the other drivers are use to motorcycles doing that, they are literally taking their life in their hands. I cant tell em not to.. and hopefully they dont find out the hard way



edit to add: but i like to rile folks up sometimes! sorry if i caused any permanent damage or inflated blood pressure!
