Customer tried to steal a handgun and run out the door

CMshoot, at some point in the future when you're confident that your business or you personally will not face any criminal or civil repercussions over this, I hope you'll flesh this out some more. We all ought to have that conversation about using force against shoplifters, especially a single shoplifter who is slow and weak and small compared to the person doing the arrest / detention.
And those of us who are not involved in management or security at a business might still witness a store employee attempting to detain a shoplifter, and in case we want to intervene on the side of the good guy(s).

(Hypothetical example: I'm a customer at at the front door through which the bad guy is about to escape in one second, and it doesn't look like the pursuing store employee is going to catch up with the bad guy in time to make contact still inside the business.)

Yes. Let's do the responsible thing by standing back and willingly allow another firearm to hit the streets illegally.

****ing lawyers.

I gotta get back up there some time soon. My wife bought two or three books and I THINK packs of of seeds . We bought some tiny flashlights that plugged into 12 volt outlets that are really handy.
I remember the gun counter area had what looked like a few hundred stripped lowers hanging from peg hooks on the back wall.
