I've decided to change the scope. The Nikon I have on it does not have a parallax adjustment and will not focus well on high magnification at close range. I found a Leupold VX 2 3x9 Rimfire with AO. It is one of the models that you can order custom elevation caps for that will match your specific load. I'm going to have caps made with 25 yard increments from 25 to 350 yards for both the 22lr and 17 HMR once I get that barrel and find the right ammo.

LOL! That's about right, but irrelevant now. It turns out the particular one I got can not be set up with a custom turret after all. No matter, I'll just do a normal come up badge.
