I have been a fan of these rifles ever since I bought a K1A1 in 1986, today I own a K1, K2 and a DR200... This thread is intended to be a Repository of information about these South Korean rifles ~ feel free to share your Woo and enjoy.

I've owned (still have one) three K2s. They are outstanding little carbines. I wish I still had all of them.

I remember when no one wanted one since "They're from koe rhea! They cain't make nuthin worth a damn!"

I remember shooting the full-auto versions when I trained with the ROK Marines in Pohang, South Korea. We all thought they were cool, mainly because of the folding stocks.

I have one, not installed at the moment but the 90 degree selector is an improvement.

I read back in the 90's the company has origins in the mid 1400's. Rice farming to radios now.
