Daily hunting update 9/17/15

We down for an afternoon hunt. Didn't see a single deer in 3 hours. About the only thing moving in the woods were the squirrels cutting acorns everywhere. They sounded like they were on a mission trying to remove every branch on the oaks. The other thing is that the skitters were thick and very persistent.

yeah **** them skeeters ,i always like to wait a week or so for the leaves and skeeters ..

Completely covered in Redhead Endura skin (including head) under my Scentlok suit. Only exposed skin was eyes and nose and I always wear a pait close fitting pair of orange sunglasses. The constant buzzing is what gets old. Its not the coolest thing to hunt in; but I've had deer at 5 yards not bust me. Working next 5 days, so guess I'll try again next week.

I just don't like being fully suited in the winter more less in the start of bow season ,last year i went in early and was drop kicking skeeters in the stand like a damn ufc match ...

I went out yesterday morning. Bugs and squirrels were all I saw and 3 turkey on the way out.

Plenty of does couple of bucks but nothing I wanted to take.
