If that dog's like mine have been, probably alternates between laying in the sun to heat up and on the ice to cool down.
Lmao! I had an Alaskan Husky/Chow mix years ago that would go absolutely berserk happy any time it would snow, after he got tired from playing like a crazy mut he'd curl up in the snow and go to sleep. He was a trip, I miss that ol' dawg. The dog I have now is an Australian Shepherd/Boxer mix with tons of long thick fur and he loves cold weather too but I let him be an inside dog during warm & hot weather, he's a perfectly behaved dog inside except for the fact he sheds enough fur in a week to make several small dogs and a couple of cats. Lol!
