Damn you Poison Ivy.....Damn You!

Hate it for you - My Daughter gets it bad... We give her antihistamine tablets to help with the outbreak... We learned that it does not spread via contact from one spot to another, but the oil sticks around, so you can continue to get exposed to it. Clean everything that you touched - tools, doors, clothes, shoes....

This stuff is AWESOME! I am very, VERY allergic to poison ivy. I have gotten it from just walking close to the plant without ever touching it. (This is-until I discovered TECNU!)

TECNU is a soap. You just put it on the affected area-and it flat out nukes the oils which cause the rash. IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!

If I go anywhere near anything which I suspect to be live poison ivy (or a dead runner vine-that crap will get you too.) I wash off with Tecnu. It is incredible stuff. I have even gotton into ivy to the point where I knew I had it, and the rash was starting with those damn blisters. I used Tecnu-and it stopped. Killed the oil, the rash, and everything.

This **** is so incredible-it deserves a Nobel prize. Use it within a few hours of exposure and I guarantee you will not break out! It is happiness in a bottle! I haven't had poison ivy in at least 15 years-ever since I discovered this stuff. You can even throw some in the washer-and get poison ivy oils off your clothes!

(Some walmarts sell it, but I have much better luck finding it at walgreens.)

Hose those shoes down and spray your clothes or throw what you can away! That Nasty rash isn't what's contagious, it's the oils that are left in fabrics,etc. Oatmeal bath or good ol' fashion Lidocaine lotion helps relieve the itch as well.

Do yourself a huge favor and eat the oatmeal and trash the topical creams. Buy Zanfel. Honestly the itch is gone in under a minute, and the rash in a day or three depending on how severe it was. It washes the oil out of the skin, and completely eliminates ALL of the itching.
