Dana Safety Supply's Change of Policy

I have adopted the same No-Shrug policy that Tom Gresham started. No longer will I stand by when someone attacks my Rights. No longer will I ignore an insult to my intelligence, integrity or responsible nature because they are scared of an inanimate object or political fallout.

Make no mistake, this is an attack against the Second Ammendment. It is an attack against private citizens and responsible gun owners. If the rank and file at Dana Safety Supply were truly concerned, they would have made more of a statement than a strongly worded memo to the executives.

To all those who wish to continue buying from a company that turns it's back on our rights. Just remember the left is counting on you.

Divided we fall.
First, they have the right to do business how they please, you have the right to spend your money wherever you want. It is your choice if you never want to ever set foot inside DSS again. I would prefer that they had never issued the new policy. But if I buy a pistol or other non-AR firearm from them I fail to see how that makes me part of the "left" or contributes to us being "divided". I don't want the government or anyone telling me what I should or can do with my money.

I have personally purchased items in person at your store. Due to this decision, I will never purchase another item from DSS, AND I will tell EVERYONE I know...

Decisions, like elections, have consequences. For a company to make its reputation as a supporter of a RIGHT, that is always under attack, only to cave when the going gets tuff and decide to preemptively ban a legal item to curry favor with the enemy( and NO, I do not use that term lightly) is a blatant betrayal. The comparison to a car company in another thread is false and so irrelevant as to be laughable. Feinstein is not pushing for legislation to baun cars with autom, atic transmissions. Everyone who lives under the shadow of loss of the 2nd amendment KNOWS that guns are like nothing else in the political world. Pulling a car off the market or refusing to sell one model is meaningless. Pulling a style of gun off the market in response to the political pressure of the liberal gun grabbers is simple cowardice. If you choose to do so that is your decision. But it is a betrayal of the very people who you built your trade on. If you can't see that that's on you.

As for people shopping as they please...absolutely you can. Feel free. While you can. You either stand for something or you will have nothing left to stand for. Your decision. You feel free to get as indignant as you like that anyone might think less of you for suypporting a company with your money that is laughing at you while currying up to the very politicians who WILL work until they take away every gun you own. Part of the left? No, just a neutralized threat. Fight or fade away. Support only those who support US or support them by default. Just as those whose will and spirit was weakened and as a result didn't vote in November were complicit in re-installing obama in the White House for 4 more glorious years, those who stand idle or side with those who cross the line are neutralized at best. Do as you think is best.

As for me, I will never knowingly spend a dime with a company who sides with the enemy.
