DD MK18 worth it?

The MK18 has always caught my eye and I'm considering buying 1, possibly today.

To those who own/owned 1 is it worth the $$$$ ? How do you like yours or how did you like shooting 1?

I have a MK18 upper on an SBR'd lower. It's easily my favorite build. I run it suppressed as well, runs great with a heavy buffer.

I own 2, not sure what they cost today as i purchased both of mine about 6 years ago, I love them. When it comes to registering a lower, get what you want....the last thing you will want to do is cheap out on something that is NFA and in a year wish you spent the extra money instead of being stuck with something that is not exactly what you wanted. If your heart is set on a MK18, do it.

I probably should have gone fixed front sight and folding rear. I'll see how the fixed rear works for me.

What light and mount are you running on the left one?

Little late to the party, but I'll say this. If you are only going to have one short gun I'd highly recommend an 11.5 over the 10.3. The mk18 is awesome, but the 11.5 does just about everything better.

Plenty of good 11.5 options out there. Best is gonna be Knights Armament (KAC) SR-15 but it’s expensive.

BCM, Daniel Defense, and Geissele all make good 11.5” uppers these days. Although Geissele recently switched to black oxide barrel coatings, so there’s some debate on the durability of that coating compared to phosphate.
