A new born ... "showed up" literally next to my driveway two weeks ago today. This is suburban Woodstock in the middle of one of the largest, well-established subdivisions. It was late afternoon and seemed lethargic. It was gone by late evening.

The natural deer path at the back of my 1/2 acre property might as well have a sign "Deer X-ing, Beware of Humans."

This subdivision started in 1988 and had over 1785 houses. Every year the deer seem to be growing at a geometric rate. I've had 8-pointers, 13 does at one time, and now two doe and two fawns. They've decimated my Azaleas. They DNR or someone needs to cull the herds!!!

Plant some vegetables and fire away - I understand you can shoot them any time they are eating your garden/crops!!
