dhs 2700 vehicle purchase

These things may be IED resistant....but nothing is EFP resistant....Just ask any of the boys in the sandbox.

+1 on this. If untrained, ill-equiped middle easterners can cause us so much trouble in theater imagine what well trained, well equiped US civilians could do on their home turf.

A war here on US soil would prove difficult. Access to technology, knowledge of the area, many armed and some trained and willing to pass on the knowledge. It's just not logical to wage an all out war. It's that eating an elephant 1 bite at a time scenario.

Yep.

It's the old "Smart as a fox, dumb as a jackal" excercise.....He who breaks first ALWAYS loses.....something tells me the Jackals are waiting for the fox to slip up to bring in all the hardware.

Hmmmm....a couple of these and a drone or two providing intel could clean out a neighborhood pretty quick! Scrap the bug in plan and change to a bugout plan!Need to get somewhere that's not too accessible and plenty of cover. Any ideas? I mean you take 2700 MRAPS that can effectively transport up to 14 armed combatants and you've got your hands full of trouble. That would be around 37,800 trained, armed, and armored honchos doing a big sweep! Pretty serious equipment for something. Question is what? And When?

bugging in a structure with an address and that can easily be seen from the road isn't really the best plan anyways if something that bad occurs. underground would be your best bet in those scenerios
