Well, I'd rather have a big name go in there than have it sit empty. I'm not familiar with the politics of Dick's, but Kmart and Sears sure weren't doing anything for that shopping center.

Good point. Dick's has deep pockets. It will hold up for a while. Also, it will be fun to go in and get good ideas for things ill buy cheaper online.



The best is the Which Which that opened across the street. I grew up here.. Spent a few years in Brookhaven. Was perhaps a little spoiled by the food options. I was very happy to see them come OTP. It was packed when I went in. People were sitting eating raving about it. It was nice. Took my back to my first time.

And ps. Dick's pulled all guns, ammo, and mags off the shelf after sandy hook and made announcements that it might not carry firearms again. Basically sat on their hands to see if king Obama was going to create some super ban.

Now I'm understanding the general responses in here, thanks for filling me in. I wasn't aware they'd done that and it certainly has changed my perception of the store. From a strictly economic standpoint, I hope it'll be a good draw as an anchor store to build that center up. Haven't tried Which Which yet but need to get in there. Like you, I'm glad to see more food options coming to the area.

There is already a Dicks Sporting Goods a few exits away on I-75. Stupid move.

that one is at town center area and a nightmare to get to [when I shopped there] this one is much easier to get to [if I was going to go there].

hell there is a publix, kroger, lowes and home depot on every corner why not a Dicks...lol

dick's sucks. well, i mean...ah just word it any way you want to.i hate the place. cherokee gun,high calibre,and well i think thats it for me. i have no room for any more gun stuff so im done i guess. but,if i need anything thats where id go.
