Did I get a good deal? Cannnon Executive Vault 24 gun safe

Had a friend moving out of state and he decided to sell one of his safes. The damned thing was a pain to move, over 400 pounds. I think he said he paid over $800 for it several years ago.

I got it for less than that. What do you think it is worth?

Model number is EU-21, don't see any info on that model but newer similar ones.

Hell it took me several attempts to unlock it myself. I may have to get the combination tattooed somewhere.

you can never pay too much, you may have just bought too early. From my experience used safes usually bring about 50% of original purchase. Its one of those things that once the family has sold off everything that was in it, they sell it cheap because they are hard to move.(Physically) Kind of like a piano. People give pianos away just to get them out of their house. I know I was "Blessed" with my wife's grandparents piano that now resides in the living room.
