Very familiar with DEF and all the fun it causes as I work in the maintenance dept for a major trucking company. I can say that over 1/2 of our check engine lights on the tractors are emissions related and cause a lot of labor trying to run down and correct. DEF is very corrosive and will form a solid block in the exhaust system if something fails. It will crawl back up wires and short them out. If you put it into the fuel tank in error, you will have a major engine expense very shortly when it shuts down.

Well, actually this current idiot actually makes me miss Obama.
I’ll deal with a little DEF to be in a late model truck the 1,050 lb.-ft. of torque which is well over double the old 7.3 makes up for it.
DEF can be deleted. (would gain even more power)
We bought a 7.3 its a cool truck but it’s like driving a moped, actually a moped may have more power….
Besides…. big screens, panoramic roof, power everything and heated & cooled massaging seats are super decent in a work truck.
and I won’t even get in to the business benefits of having a depreciating asset like a new truck…so even if I loved my truck they have a 2-3 year shelf life at most.

What Is your point? Mine was that Urea is the main ingredient in Piss. Wouldn’t matter if it was produced in the left eye ball, it still is the main ingredient in piss, and exits the body as such.
thanks…. I guess most of the power gains would be from the tune but from what I understand just the delete alone you would still gain about 15hp and about 85 ft lbs of torque.
