Why can't you "bring in your gun"? Those "no guns allowed" do not carry the force of the law.

As I understand it a 'No Guns or Weapons" sign has precedence over a
carry permit. Does a sign prevent anyone from entering with a firearm?
Of course not. Does doing so open the carrier to possible prosecution?
Possibly, likely, or guaranteed based on belief and policy of local D.A.
Those signs probably meant to provide protection from liability for the
building owners more than safety for occupants. Intruder shoots up
the place before 'security' arrives not owner's fault. "We had a sign".

not in Georgia. In some states, like Tennessee, signs carry the weight of law. But not in GA. iF you print and someone sees your junk...they can ask you to leave. Thats it.

being asked to leave was most likely result if discovered.
Heck, I've been asked to leave places when I wasn't carrying!

My view too. If you don't have armed security using wands or stationary metal detectors you ain't serious about me not carrying a gun.
