Dirty Gun

38 snob nose with hollow point will do all you need and more and you won't have to take out a 2nd mortgage on you house to buy one.

G19 or a Smith Wesson M&P, Sig 320, HK P30, etc. 9mm is enough to stop just about any threat on 2 or 4 legs in Ga, they are smaller and lighter than a revolver and shoot more times with more options for holsters. They are not expensive and are not collector pieces and are very reliable.

almost any polymer semi-auto would work in this roll I would say. Having shot a bond arms I have literally no desire to ever do it again. Heavy trigger that was borderline dangerous (gun moves as you pull it), recoil sucked hard, it was 2 shots, tricky to get to the second barrel on the second shot, etc. Also way heavier and bigger than it needed to be.

I would suggest a polymer version of whatever you like but in a tanker style holster.

there are a bunch of different and cheaper versions on Amazon and similar with a flap. I carry a steel 1911 or a sig 365 around the house in one with no issues. It's nice that it's out of the way and not on the belt, so sweat pants or a poop break is no annoyance. Not the most concealed but if you're in a place where you can pop rounds off at will then who cares?

IVE GOT A TARUS 2 INCH 357 MAG STAINLESS I TOTE ON FARM WHEN OUT WORKING! 2 ROUNDS 4 SHOT AND OTHER 3 ARE 125 GRIN JHP ! I BELIEVE MODEL 605 HAS VERY SMALL HAMMER WHERE WONT CATCH WHEN GETTING OUT OF POCKET ! HAD FOR ABOUT TEN YEARS .

I use a 2 piece belt system and carry a Glock 19 OWB in a Safariland ALS holster. My GP100 loaded with shot shells is in an OWB paddle holster in the tractor toolbox so I can just add it to my belt quickly if I need while off the tractor. I like the GP100 because its a dual use tool serving as a club, hammer or just something heavy to throw once I'm out of rounds.

I can also clip a shotgun or AR to my tractor ROPS or onto the Mule depending on which I am using that day.

To all the people suggesting a revolver....Check out the Military Arms channel on Youtube. He did a "gaunlet" test on a S&W model 19. I don't think it even made it passed the first set of tests. Failed miserably the first bit of dirt that got in it. Revolvers aren't fail proof.

Which is why I recommended a flap holster. Btw our military has a long history. The Air Force finally discontinued their use of the S&W m-15 in 2019.

just to poke the bear. Any run of the mill revolver will be more accurate than your average auto-jammer.

....and any revolver or semi-auto will be more accurate than 99% of shooters can exploit.
