Discipline or too extreme??

Well, it is hard to be a gang banger while toting a 25lb block.
I believe there is more to this story that has come to light. The media preys on the sympathy of it's readers and viewers and focuses solely on the father's choice of punishment instead of revealing what the boy actually did wrong.

:noidea:

Every spankin' my dad gave me is appreciated now. Like cap Dave stated said society has taken away corporal punishment (libs) and wimpified kids today. 30 years ago you rarely heard of mass shootings, gangs taking over streets, beatings for no reason.

Well, we can be damned sure that whatever problems the kid was having will not get fixed now. This is BS. I applaud that father for trying to save his son. As for the kid not having any water and being unsafe, note that the article says that when LE saw the kid a second time and in the middle of the night, the father was WITH the kid.

Because of interference with this father, that kid may very well be screwed for life, rather than learning discipline and becoming a good human being. This is another example of the *****fication of America
