I respect everyones reasons and opinions.....but I agree with you. I don't have any decals on my front door or windows but I do have NRA and GA Carry emblems on my truck. I also have the 2nd Amendment and a sticker that reads " The best thing about the second amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it. I am just really fed up with people who oppose gun rights and don't really feel unsafe about it because I am always packing heat. The only place I do not carry is church but I'm working on getting an ankle holster so I can. My wife and I both carry all the time so if they break into my house you won't get my guns and I'm broke like the rest of the country so you won't get money. I take my right to firearms very seriously and treat all situations and my surroundings as if I could be a victim. I'm not paranoid, just not ignorant to the world we now live in. My signature say's it all.......

I do see the majorities point in this topic.......but I will rock out with my Glock out.
Be safe all.
oh yeah half the thug b$#ta#ds around here don't even know what the second amendment is nor the NRA and GA Carry.

I'm actually quite proud to fly my decals. I fly my NRA life member decals my to a supporter my Gadsten flag and my Molon Labe. I also probably fly my Gadsten flag along with my Stars & Stripes in front of my house. Never leave a gun in the car, and if you're stupid enough to try and come in my house Uninvited you're welcome to some free lead.

I understand the element of surprise. He, but I believe prevention is worth it's weight in gold b

IMO, you need to re-think your "philosophy". The best encounter is one that does not happen or escalates to guns being drawn.
If the bad guy even suspects I have a gun, they will likely go for a softer target.
Case in point:
As you noted, a good dog is a good defense. And when a bad guy sees or suspects that, they go somewhere else.

We will have to agree to disagree on that my friend. The situation I was in would not have had any other outcome had this individual known there were armed people about. Some times stupid people are just stupid. Had this person known I was carrying (or anyone else) I (we) would have been his first target. I can't elaborate any further except over a beer in person. Some things should not be posted for obvious reasons :)

I checked "Yes", but while I DO WEAR Pro-Second Amendment Tee Shirts--Have one on NOW, it says "Just another bitter American, clinging to Guns & Religion"--I Do NOT have any "Gunny"-type Stickers on any of our VEHICLES or on/around the HOUSE...Just doesn't seem PRUDENT, if ya' know what I mean...YMMV, of course....mikey357

I agree with not putting logo's stickers etc on the cars or trucks. If you have the right look about you one can tell pretty quick if your the type of person that carry's.

I keep one in the truck beside me, one on me and another on real close.
