This question seems to come up regularly. While I sort of understand not wanting to attract the attention of thieves, I don't leave guns in my vehicle so its a non-issue. On the flip side, I feel as though SOME gun owners have almost been shamed into hiding by today's political climate. Personally I'm proud to be a gun owner and a supporter of the Constitution. I have no qualms about advertising that fact and do so every time I drive my Jeep.

NRA and Magpul stickers on my car. I've got a binder for school that is plastered in stickers.. GCO, NRA, Magpul, Glock, S&W, BCM, DD. Voodoo tac, etc... I love setting it out and letting professors see it.

No blatant signs for me, but not paranoid.
Someone may try your car, because they can see if you are in it or not.
Home? If I were a bad guy, I'd move to a softer appearing target if I saw signs of gun ownership.

I am not worried about guns being stolen. They don't stay in my truck and my safe is big and well secured. I also have insurance riders for my guns. But the hassle of dealing with a break in simply sucks.

The problem with breaking into a car with gun stickers is.. you never know when that armed person will be coming back to their car.
