the "obvious" gun stickers go on my gun bench. On the back window of my truck, I have an AR bolt face sticker, an american flag in black & white, a Molo Labe sticker, and a NRA sticker on the inside looking out threw tinted glass. Only question I ever get, is asking me if I like gears of war. Only other "gun enthusiasts" can tell im into guns.

I saw you this morning on 400. Remembered this post and recognized the stickers.

I saw a license plate on a truck the other day...it read "HKMP5SD" I guess he likes guns! I bet most people dont even get it.

It seems to be we inhabit similar space more than often

I have a work truck with a CZ sticker on it which I believe not being a mainstream manufacturer does not mean much to mainstream non-gun people. Not to much of an addy for come break in, however, as of late have thought about yanking it off. I live closer to metro Atlanta which has become in some areas really flaming liberal, to the point where I think people may actually vandalize a vehicle advertising anything pro-2a. This is a wake up call to those folks that think being in the South is libtard proof. As a matter of fact this is how Colorado turned from a pro-2a state to Californunism/Obamunism, the Liberals migrated to the major metro areas the places that hold the most voting power in many states i.e. Chicago compared to the rest of Illinois (primarily pro gun) and took over. Point being the fact that it may not be wise to advertise the NRA or Georgia Carry in places like metro Atlanta should motivate every conservative to get out and vote next year and make sure Ga stays conservative. The danger signs are out there folks.

No advertisement of any kind. None on my autos. For primary home defense I have a 100lb American Bulldog. He seems friendly and wags his tail when someone comes to the door but he is a sneaky bastard and will go for the neck or hands if Dad or Mom aren't around. He is still suspicious when we let strangers in an will sit next to my wife or I and stare until he feels the treat is gone. I have trained him to "take" on command and will take anything out of your hand. He especially goes nuts over handguns.
In my opinion a well trained dog is the first line and in your absence the only line of defense when you are not home. They don't need a password, you don't have to worry if the phone line was cut or the power is out.
I see idiots all the time with "Got Sig" on their trucks. In a volatile situation these people will be the first targets of removal. I'd rather seem humble and be of assistance than be spotted and neutralized. As far as clothing goes, what's the point of concealed carry if you plaster Smith an Wesson or Ruger all over yourself?
The element of surprise is my personal philosophy. I have been in a situation where I have had to draw to defend and the sheer look of horror on the perpetrators face was all the assurance I need to know my philosophy is correct.
