Do you carry two?

depends on my carry.

This is me as well.. also depends on what Im wearing. Right now I just have my PT111 as a carry and depending on the pants I have (my carpenter jeans have a pocket for a hammer on each side that's just perfect for carrying spare mags concealed in) I will keep a spare 12 round mag on me.

When I used to carry my P226 I didn't have any spare mags, when I carry a 1911 I always have 2 extras.

I've thought about when I get another carry size 1911 keeping the Taurus around as a BUG, but I just don't know if I could comfortably carry two weapons. And its better to comfortably carry one to me than to leave stuff at home because its not comfortable on your person. I have the same view with motorcycle leathers/gear. Better to have textile or mesh and know you will wear it every time than just have a leather suit that you leave home because its not comfortable in the heat so when I have to buy new gear the textile/mesh stuff always gets bought first

I say carrying as much as you comfortably can is the right choice, weather it be one gun and a magazine, or three or four guns on your person.. The only thing I see as a little overboard are those people carrying shotguns and long guns into the store with them.. It just sets a bad image for the gun community and really the bad image is the only reason why I don't like it. If anti-gunners didn't look so down upon and a way to leverage and get our rights stripped it I would be fine with it

And if all you can carry is a pocket knife or brass knuckles comfortably, hey at least you have some form of defense

Gibbs rule #9, always carry a knife

Just trivia for the day. Carrying a second gun, rather than a spare mag, is often called a "New York Reload".

I carry a G36 and one extra mag. It would be extremely rare that a SD situation would take more than that. However, if it really hits the fan, I have a total of 235 more rounds and two additional weapons in my vehicle. One of which is a pistol caliber carbine.

A second mag is easy enough to carry, but if I feel the need for two guns, then I'm bringing a long gun and a handgun, along with a friend who is similarly armed, and we will both be wearing body armor too.

In other words, NO, I don't carry two guns. Have not yet in 25 years of carrying daily.
