Does cerakote depreciate a guns value??

If I cared about a gun's future collectibility, then yes I would avoid cerakoteing.
But, for practical guns that are meant to be used, if cerakote is the right type of finish that is tough, non-reflective, and makes the gun into the right color that pleases you,
I say "go for it."
I wouldn't consider a gun to be worth less if it had a cerakote finish compared to a rusty, badly worn, or corroded blued or nickle finish.

Mmmmmm

Guncandy...

The ODT never fails to entertain. Why the hell is anyone being called a "Fudd" because they don't like Cerakote? It's like the 5th grade in here lately. It's rare to ever see an informative discussion (like a few of the posts in this thread are) before the kids show up with hurt feelings and stale insults.

I think it's the failure of some to see how vastly cerakote is used. Many manufacturers are using it on higher end stuff straight from the factory now.
