Does most of sellers require deposits?

Is this legal. That's my question. Can a 24 year old foreigner who has only been in country for a year and a half and recently moved from NY, own a firearm in GA.? He's never mentioned his status.
Yes.
If a foreigner with a legal status and holding a proper license.
And I went through all requirements.

As long as he is here legally and doesn't have a criminal record I don't see any problem with it.

Smoh Smoh , try to get a Georgia weapons carry permit if you can. Georgia is a constitutional carry state so you don't need it to legally carry a gun but it would make transactions on here much easier for you. I won't sell a gun to anyone that won't show me a carry permit and many other sellers on here feel the same way. This site isn't a joke, we trade lethal weapons with each other and nobody wants them to fall into the wrong hands.
Thanks for the advise !
I am in the middle of the process

Hunting license - Foreigners need this if they want to buy a firearm
+ my bad on short explanation
No they don't. If you are a legal resident, you're gtg. That's at an FFL.

If I meet you, and have no reason to believe you're a prohibited person, I can legally sell to you as well. This is America.

From what I’ve researched, a non-immigrant alien with a valid hunting license can legally purchase firearms in Georgia.
I actually went to a gun shop to buy one. The owner first ran my background check without entering my hunting license number and it was denied.
When I appealed and included my hunting license number, the check went through and I was approved by ATF.
