Don't be stupid......

Good video. I've argued the identical case, here and on other gun forums, going back years, and I generally got dismissed, if not outright dog piled. Belief among gun owners that a hi-cap gun battle could plausibly occur at any moment, is rampant. Even in a recent thread here, where I made my case for toting a humble J-frame most of the time, I was getting "schooled" by the guys that won't leave the house without 1 or 2 spare hi-cap magazines. (what a PITA that must be!)
and don't forget the 3 knives! one for each hand

Got to have one of these to balance that 1911 in your shoulder rig.

My primary carry guns are chosen with CONVIENIENCE of carry far outweighing their FIREPOWER.

If I really thought I'd have to use a gun to defend myself, or particularly to engage an "active shooter" that is trying to do a mass-murder at the store I'm shopping in, the church I'm attending that morning, the restaurant I'm eating in...

I damn well want a full sized duty pistol with 2 hi-cap mags.
Optics preferred over iron sights.

Heck, I'd really want a CARBINE and I'd want BODY ARMOR.

I don't carry that stuff because of the low odds of needing it.
But don't think for a minute that I'd consider myself "well armed" for a gun battle with one of my small pocket autos or a J-frame Smif.

All good points, I agree 100% . But, the last comment was kinda redundant. I don't recall anyone, myself included, ever claiming to be "well armed" with a 5-7 shot pocket pistol. I'm sure we're all aware of the deficiencies, and what "could" happen.
But, as you pointed out, we're choosing DECADES of comfort and convenience, over an extremely low probability event ( one where there's still no assurance that even a G17 w/ 3 full mags will be sufficient).
While admittedly not "well armed", based on statistical history, I have a high degree of confidence in the self defense capabilities of my old Airweight Smiff .38 ;).
