Seriously OP, aside from the misogynistic (read: women-hating) comments, this is actually a lot of good advice. You've been an idiot and it's great that you know it and we're not gonna sugar coat it either. So make up with your wife and from now on make her a priority. You don't have to give up hunting entirely or give up the ODT, but treat her like you want to be with her.
