Draco advice needed

Just got one and love it. My son shot it and said thanks dad you just gave me the ak itch again gotta get one. They are just FUN to shoot. When I look at buying a firearm and the asking price I always look at it from the point of can I at least get my money back out of it if I want. The Draco seems on an upward trend right now.

I got a Draco on trade and I love it. I wasnt planning on being an AK lover, it just happened.

Safe? Sure, Loud? yes, Massive percussion? Yes, Kinda impractical? yup , hard to aim? yes.

Do I still love it? YES.

Same here, though I did carry one when I was on active duty (akms) never thought I would become a fan....to add to the PRO's cheap to shoot,cheap to accessorize ,and it a fire breathing dragon. One must have if you do the trade is a tapco double spring trigger (under $30 bucks). It will make your Draco seriously rock n roll without being a full auto

The Draco is as safe as any firearm to shoot if you are a safe shooter. It is fairly accurate depending on the skill of the shooter and with a sling added (You will need to buy a $20 dollar sling plate) you can increase your accuracy. The front muzzle threads are covered by a piece of metal tac welded and can be removed with a saw or dremel. I recommend changing the stock Romanian trigger to a Tapco G2 trigger ($20-25) if it has not already been done. The Romanian trigger tends to have trigger slap and is not as smooth as the Tapco. Changing an AK trigger is very easy. The Draco is a nice firearm. It has a large fireball but once you add a muzzle brake it can be diminished somewhat. I think they are worth no more then $550, but if you really want one then its worth whatever you can afford to pay/trade for it. I predict the value of them will begin to fall with the introduction of the IO Hellcat AK pistol and the Yugo PAP pistol on the market. Dracos have been going for $600-$900 recently but I see it balancing out at $600-700 soon.

Aight fellers bringing back the dead thread with an update................

I didn't really like the plain wood, SO............. I watched a few youtube videos on adding the Russian touch. I am pleased with the outcome, not a lot of work involved. Some may not like it but, I DO!

Time for DRACO FUN - Gonna shoot her this weekend, I am ready!
