I believe you are mistaken. Even in the great state of Georgia, if you are selling a firearm to another individual they need to be a resident of Georgia You can not sell a weapon to someone in another state without using an FFL. You are going to do well here. I am sure we will never deal.

There is no law that compels us as individuals to ID anyone we are selling a firearm to... if that were the case we'd all be doing it and guess what we're not

It is my understanding that while federal law does not require private sellers to inspect a buyer’s driver’s license or any other identification or to even confirm that a buyer is of legal age to purchase a firearm, it is law that you cannot sell a firearm to someone that is not a resident of the state. How else can you prudently check that without a peak at a DL?
