Dusty cases and priming .303 British

I extend the life of my walnut tumbling media by putting in a few capfuls of odorless mineral spirits (paint thinner). That keeps the dust down and makes the brass shine. I have never had an issue with contaminating the powder or primer by using it either. For cheap tumbling media, go to your petsmart or other pet supply store and buy a 25 pound bag of Lizzard Litter. That is nothing but ground up walnut hulls and it works great, much cheaper than buying the media from the gun suppliers. You can also put in a little liquid car wax to make the brass really shine. I had some issues with the corn cob media, there were some oversize pieces in the batch I had that got stuck in the 223 cases. That was enough for me to abandon corn cob media. Blitzfike
