I keep telling myself its a GOV trick for the trust folk. Like an initiative to go trust to later get your guns confiscated due to lawyer slander. Call me paranoid but I see it as a lawyer definition backed trap.

That is what I have thought for a long time....

(Just saying.)

I have seen the govt. do worse. (under a lot less underhanded administrations.)

(All I know for sure is that trusts are a relatively recent invention.) Maybe it is a better mousetrap-who knows? All I know for sure is that these things didn't exist when I was coming up. Never heard one one back then. And I grew up amongst all sorts of gun folks.

I hope ours is just standard baseless paranoia..... But if it seems too good to be true.

I hope they don't pull any BS.....

But all they would have to do is say that they no longer recognize trusts. Maybe they would provide an amnesty to re-register. Maybe not.

(I just think the whole construct seems a bit fishy.)
