They still limit items they consider to be used on "assault weapons" and everything allowed is under their "hunting" category.

[h=2]This week eBay, arguably the largest online auction site in the world, took a step closer to supporting the Second Amendment. In a press release they state,

"eBay's Hunting category has expanded to include more items. Now you can list the following firearm parts and accessories on the eBay US site (eBay.com) with domestic shipping:

Enbloc clips
Barrels
Bolts
Choke tubes
Cylinders
Firing pins
Hammers
Magazines with a capacity to accept 10 rounds or less (high-capacity magazines that can accept more than 10 rounds are not allowed)
Slides
Trigger assemblies

Further, they state,

"You may now show your accessories on a firearm in your photo, as long as it is not an assault weapon and there is no indication in the listing that the firearm is included in the sale."

Apparently, eBay still uses the technically incorrect term 'assault rifle' and states that.[/h]
[h=2]"Listing accessories related to assault weapons is still prohibited on eBay. If your accessory is compatible with other weapons as well as assault weapons, you may list it, but may not mention any assault weapon compatibility. The listing of firearms, replica firearms, ammunition, and other firearm-related items is still prohibited on eBay."[/h]

That's pretty cool! Always wondered why you couldn't buy a barrel, but could buy a baseball bat? Lol both could do the same damage, right?

Ebay used to allow you to buy parts. I bought my first aftermarket AR upper on Ebay back around 2000-2002.

It was complete with BCG and there were many to choose from.

They may have figured out how much money they are missing out on and still are with their stupid "assault weapon rules"

I've been watching this stuff on ebay.. what's funny is stuff like slides, magazines, uppers, etc. go for higher than you can get them on other sites... maybe buyers are over-reacting? :) Anyway, the "assualt rifle" thing is stupid and makes it difficult to find ak47 or ar15 parts (look for 223, 556, 762 :))... hopefully, having them on ebay will drive prices down.
