What are you on about, it's down a whopping 5.95% in the last year and their stock prices are honestly an anomaly, and don't really usually coincide with company performance. I've seen it move more when Musk sends out a silly tweet versus when they smash earnings or have some major announcement.I ask this question honestly....IF Tesla is going to do so great in 24 why has the stock price gone to ****???
He is looking for a reason to interject a common theme, most likely, which is often irrelevant to the topic. What are you on about, it's down a whopping 5.95% in the last year and their stock prices are honestly an anomaly, and don't really usually coincide with company performance. Find me a stock that isn’t overpriced. That would be impressive. Corrections to a stock price are oftentimes irrelevant to the popularity of a company’s products. Here’s an explanation: institutional investors wanted to take profits and reduce their holdings in a EV company after identifying something they liked better. They sold to buy something else, resulting in a lowered share price. That is a plausible explanation.$299 on 7/19/23....$171 today....whatever
Financial Genius? Not. But a good try.$299 on 7/19/23....$171 today....whatever
Without hijacking the OP thread...maybe you could start another thread under Finance/Investment and people can chime in.O.K...
I asked, and that is an answer.....one of the reasons I asked, is because when it hit the low of $103 in January last year....I was talking it my cocktail buddy, after hearing the folks on Fox business talking about it, saying it was "the buy of the century".... I told him, "damn man, we should buy some of that"!!!....well, WE did not, of course, and there ya go....as usual....anyway I kind of watch it now, and it is going down, again....It's fairly typical, that if there's a positive outlook on a company, the stock price tends to rise, which is not the case, OR the outlook is not as positive as some here may think...
I am the worst stock picker in the world. I bought Chipotle at $50 per share. I sold it after a decent return because I couldn’t understand why it was going up. Humbling experience because I picked a winner and was too chicken **** to stay with it.Without hijacking the OP thread...maybe you could start another thread under Finance/Investment and people can chime in.
I recommend you look into Autozone (AZO), Chipotle (CMG) and Celsius drink (CEHL).
Maybe you should, I'm certainly not as smart...Without hijacking the OP thread...maybe you could start another thread under Finance/Investment and people can chime in.
