That is a stupid argument. Trying to get the public to buy into their huge mistake and support them. Kinda like the government taxing us for their mistakes. When we make a mistake, we have to eat it ourselves......

I don't buy this.
She's claiming that dealerships were forced to take EVs, but they were supposedly forced to take them back when they were selling because of the tax mandates. If the dealerships were forced to take them, but didn't really want them, they would have been having massive sales. Heck, they would be giving them away today since the tax incentive ends on Sept. 30th.
I just checked my local Chevy dealership: 113 new vehicles on the lot, 7 are electric. Still priced pretty close to MSRP.
I believe any "overstock" of EVs at dealerships is just like any other car: They gamble on the demand, and it either works out great or it doesn't.
Also:
She will have to work a LOT harder to overcome the car dealer hatred that dealerships have been working so hard to build over the years. There's a reason so many people think car dealers are sleazy.
If you have about 10 minutes to waste, watch this...It JUST could change your mind about a battery car....OR...just watch the first part, and move on
I dug a bit deeper....while aluminum ion battery technology is out there...the stuff on YouTube seems to be fake, or not substantiated by Tesla, or anyone else....soon....maybe
ICE and petroleum product fuel is still working fine.
If aluminum ion batteries make it to market....you just may change your mind
