Explain this to me regarding Milled AKs.

I forgot who said it, but it's like this for me...(I'm paraphrasing)...

Milled AK's are great for people who buy them and put them in the safe and look at how pretty they are, but then they go shoot them and find out that they shoot like every other AK. Then they sell them and buy a bunch of stamped WASR's and are happier than ****.

that does happen a lot. I dont care what the receiver is made of. As long as its an AK im happy. Im just not paying the price they are asking for them.
 
It seems to me that there would be a significant amount of metal loss and time spent in milling an AK receiver than with an AR - which should drive the price up due to the cost of the raw block of metal being larger and "labor" taking longer.


Either that or AR's > AK's :pop2:
