"Extraordinary helicopter rescue in the French Alps"

Well, somebody filmed it...He wasn't on the bird leaving....

You do know there are weight limits aircraft call haul and that includes fuel. Maybe they had to come back and get him. But the logical idea is that someone was hurt and took them down to safety and the other waited for pick up or skied down. Lots of reasons.

looks like 2 angles multiple people skiing. those helicopters dont have a large working payload. usually only enough for a pilot crew and one or two patients, especially at that altitude. they dont take down a whole ski group, just the injured.

Yes...Give the guy the camera, and tell him you're coming back...No doubt training maneuvers with MULTIPLE cameras. Very impressive none the less. Any film of them coming back for the camera man(men)?

Looks like just 2 angles and everyone has a cell phone. Doesnt look like a training exercise, and unlikely a pilot would take a risk like that for training.

Any film of them coming BACK to save the cameraMEN? I guess they could have been part of the rescue crew, and then had to descend a mountain that required a rescue mission because it was a difficult descend? Unlikely a rescue would leave ANYBODY up there....
