F Chevy- Lifelong fan no more

I'm late to the party....and only read through the first page.
HOWEVER, an aftermarket radiator is not terribly expensive on ebay.
Not sure what CHEVY you have (since you did not post that in your 1st post)....but if it is a truck, the removal and install is straight forward. A semi-skilled person can do it in less than two hours....probably even less.

Yah, GM should man up and fix it. But I have heard HORRIBLE stories about RAM, FORD, etc. So they are all liars and cheats. The only dealership I ever experienced that was 100% honest was Infiniti.

Also, when I take my vehicle (under warranty) in to the dealership for an oil change, I tell the only do the oil change. Do not be messing around with filters and this and that. Far too many times, the tech messes something up while digging around in the engine compartment.
