Negative. And there is several case laws supporting this.Cops cannot gain entry on the word of a minor either.The case as stated in the OP is completely legal, probably in any state in the union.

so when I was a kid I could have been arrested for going over to a friend's house after he invited me, unless I went inside and found his parent's to ask first? right lol
