The smell of fresh cut lumber, concrete, cutting/grinding metal, bondo, lacquer thinner - ok, I grew up in a family that built houses and owned a garage/body shop.

Maybe add fresh corn simmering, okra in the frying pan, and a big peach cobbler in the oven.
