So which one do you carry every day?
This was my favorite too. Had one years ago and lost it. Bought another one for an ex-gf. Last year, had some REI dividend money and there was a sale, so I got the 940-1. Normally wouldn't spend almost $300 on an edc, but got this for just over $100 after sale discount and dividend. Easily my all time favorite and about half an ounce lighter than the 940 with aluminum scales. The axis locks are a PITA to put back together, though. Never let your in-laws use it to cut fruit.I like to follow the "what knife is in your pocket" thread and it made me think about what everyone's favorite EDC knife is/was. I tend to go through them but have never left my Benchmade 940 for too long. 10+ years and still going strong (a little ugly though). S30V is a PIA to sharpen though
I like the Emersons, I have the commander, but I never end up carrying it. 6 oz for an EDC knife is too heavy for me since I don't need that stout a blade. Excellent knives, though.
i I routinely used a $500 knife. My craig camerer balisong. You got to use them, that's what they are made for...
I don't disagree. But I feel bad about cutting cardboard with a 400$ + blade.
