By far the mosin nagant. Best bolt action for the money. Right behind that is the AK-47.

Someone will probably say that this rifle is ruined from an authenticity standpoint, but whoever "ruined" it was an artist. It has a nice crisp trigger, the surface of the metal feels like glass and the stock speaks for itself.

Technically not a mil surp, but I adore M14 pattern rifles. Just bought my first M1A.

I would like to publicly acknowledge and thank tackleberry for not only posting pics of an awesome collection, but for the following:

NOT laying the weapons on gravel, rocks, concrete driveway or sidewalk to take the photographs; and NOT putting a bayonet blade through the trigger guards to prop them up.

NO WEAPONS WERE HARMED DURING THE PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS.

I agree. Seeing a knife through a trigger guard on here makes my skin crawl....
