That's not 100% true when you add in their shipping cost to the price. Example:

Sure, only a $6 savings but IMHO Target Sports ships much faster. I currently purchase from both companies on a regular basis.
I realize Freedom tripped on their d*cks but what exactly happened to them? As he says in the video it wasn't that long ago that they were the go to for quality ammo. I remember when all the comp shooters were them as that was around the time I was just getting back into comp shooting.
The ammo shortage was not good for them. They shipped a whole bunch of hot garbage. There were some threads on here showing some of the idiot mistake they made during that time. They went from having a good reputation for quality to being looked at as junk in a lot of people's eyes.
Also, once ammo came back it did so big time, with prices dropping almost immediately. They were slow on picking up on this, and kept their renman prices up around what I could buy new ammo for from places like SGAmmo.
I personally stopped dealing with them after I ordered 500 rounds of 45 ACP and they sent me 40 S&W in 45 ACP boxes. If they could even load the boxes right I had no faith in them loading the ammo correctly.
Plus, when I called them up to see about an exchange, the woman was very surly on the phone. After explaining what had happened her first comment was "so what do you want ME to do about it?", like it wasn't her problem. That was my last order with them and I never looked back. There's way to many good ammo companies to deal with ones like Freedom turned into.
They did try and get back in the game by dumping ammo on YouTubers all over the place. I'm not sure that helped them at all, and probably cost them a bundle.
