Favorite Red Dot and Why?

Holosun. Why? I find the circle dot reticle is a lot faster to pick up than just a single dot, allowing the center dot to be smaller, more precise. Same as eotech without the price tag or bulkiness.

Not the same as an EOTech. Maybe the same reticle, but the likeness ends there. I have nothing against Holosun, have one of their optics on an SBR 22 and have not had an issue, but it isn't a EOTech by any stretch of the imagination.

I have a Holosun 403A and it works great with my AR and Co witnesses my Buis perfectly.

I have several Bushnell TRS25s and have had no problems at all with them.

One is on a 30-06 and it works perfect.

No pic, but it is on a Garand with a scout mount. About as harsh an environment as can be, and it does fine.

That's all I was referring to; the reticle. I hate simple red dots because if it's small enough to be precise, I can't find it quickly enough when doing quick shots, and if large enough for fast acquisition, it's not precise enough for longer shots. An obvious circle around a small center dot is perfect for me.
