At this point, any politician opposing cannabis is losing votes and voter support. It's here, whether anyone likes it or not, and it's here to stay. As purple as Georgia is, any politician who campaigns on the decriminalization of it (legalization) probably would be a walk off homerun. I expect to hear about it in the 2024 election cycle as a bold print bullet point.
