Would it be useful to report suspects? Is there a way to verify with the (real) user, that a scammer can't change?Guys, for the love of God, stop sending money to people you don't know. Right now the hot item seems to be optics, but whatever it is when it's priced well below market and they want Zelle, or Paypal F&F, cashapp, etc., even if it is a well established member WALK AWAY. The one Tactical Taco is talking about just happened Friday, and there's another one today.
One major red flag to look for is an account that hasn't posted anything in years but suddenly has crazy good deals. That is very likely someone who's had their account info stolen elsewhere and it's being used to try and scam people with an established account here.

Good story. And be careful everywhereDon't feel bad, they almost got me once, after confirming the meet and location, it should have been a red flag, but the deal was too good, and I took the bait. After landing in Mozambique, I Canoed up the Zambezi River for six days thru Botswana into Angola, after fighting off a band of cannibals and burning down their Village and killing half before they fled into the bush (see, this is why I carry extra mags to a meet) I arrived a day late, the member who posted was not there, after torturing a local who confirmed it was a scam, I gathered he thought I wasn't serious and had Ghosted me, and before he died the local also confessed that it was a setup and the guy was just going to take my money and promise to ship me the item later with FedEx, I'm still thinking about giving him bad feedback, but I'm sure a Mod would just reverse it, so that would be a waste of my time, but at least he didn't get my $9.95 plus the $2000.00 shipping, so I'm cool with it. You just have to be really careful on here![]()
