great pic showing the diversity of arms that The Finns used to defend their homeland,

(Left to right) Mosin M91, LPS 26, Suomi m31, and winchester 1895 lever action (russian contract) in -54r

the finns were masters of using salvaged firearms form their enemies and cheap equipment from foreign countries to defend their homeland

they did consolidate mostly to mosins officially but there were many other weapons remaining at their disposal

I've been drooling after those Winnie 54r 1895s for a while. Who here has one they want to brag about? alleycat alleycat surely you have a couple of them?

Yep. Really smooth and straight shooter, dead center and about 1/2" high at 100 yards. Very cool to load such a large round into a lever gun. Even has factory installed mosin rear sight and guides to load with stripper clips.
