I decided to try the Ken Waters method of fire forming brass. I made some 338-06 Ackley Improved brass out of 35 Whelen. Started out with my neck sized case. After priming, I added 16 grains of Bullseye powder. I topped off each case with two sheets of 2 ply toilet paper. At the gun range,I held the rifle straight up as I touched off each round. And what came out was an enexpensive way to from my brass. Then one heck of a bareel scrubbing afterwards.

Just thought I might post this in case anyone was curious about this method. I used 3/4 of a roll versus $60 in bullets to accomplish the samne thing.

after putting the powder in tha case, I tore the 2 heets apart and fold them somewhat and then worked them into the case. Once inside I used a small rod and packed the paper after each sheet to get it as tight as possible. Every case formed. It took about a little over an hour and half to do 100 cases and 3/4 roll of TP.
