First attempt at knife making

The blade is a kit I bought. I had to dremel out the antler so as to make the tang fit. The curvature of the antler actually feels good and natural in the hand. I made it for my son. Gonna be one of his Christmas presents.

I am going to use epoxy to secure the grip to the tang. Any suggestions from folks who have done this before. Yes the antler sits flush against the hand guard. But it was hard to keep it that way and hold it..

It is a skinning knife

Any tips on using the expoxy inside the handles would be appreciated.

Looks nice! I've thought about doing something similar, but memories of the smell of drilling and sanding antler hold me back.
