First attempt at smoking deer tenderloin

I just got my first smoker. It is a masterbuilt electric. I smoked with apple wood. I wrapped the tenderloin in bacon after a 3 hour brine. Smoked for 1.5 hours. Got it a little to done but not bad. I went ahead and smoked some salmon as well. Made my own bourbon brown sugar marinade. Everything was pretty damn good. Im fat and happy.

1/2 cup bourbon, table spoon of butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar with a few dashes of Cajun seasoning. Warm on stove till sugar dissolved. More of a glaze then marinade but I guess it could work as a marinade as well.
