First CZ what do i need to make it better?

if its not a decocker model, you can convert it to single action only, and have a very nice trigger. I love shooting my cz75 tac sports. Its a very fun and accurate pistol.

You can put a SA trigger in the decocker models.

Well I guess that "Better" would mean different things to different people?
as the weapon in question is a P-01 I can't personally seeing a SA meeting the reason that I bought one?
A PCR or Compact would be a easier weapon for a SA trigger as it (they) have thumb safeties from the factory and are the same size as the P-01.
Myself being a long time 1911 guy I have carried many , many years cocked and locked, the thing that I personally like about the P-01 (and SP-01 tactical) is that they are da/ sa and have de-cockers.
once these weapons are broken in a bit the DA becomes quite nice as does the SA, they can be carried de-cocked or hammer fully down as they have a firing pin safety.
there operation is simple to place into use, simply point and pull the trigger.
IF one wishs to further enhance the DA and SA trigger then a few simple spring changes complete the process fairly cheaply.
but again it depends on the main purpose of the weapon in your life style and what you want.
hope this helps.

Started with a reduced power mainspring from CZ Custom. It's an easy swap and cheap. If you wanna spend more, Cajun Gunworks makes great parts.

It is a compact. I'm thinking its going to be a range toy more than anything although it might be carried. I carry my HK usp9c as my EDC. I just hate the actual trigger face itself it feels as if its pinching my finger on recoil. The SA is amazing i wouldn't mind a better reset though (any way to make it like the sig SRT?) the DA could be lighter. I priced out the goodies i think i would like and I'm at $330 through cajun lol. Its a great shooter i just know nothing about CZ or what people have done to improve upon those complaints. Then again I've only put 29 rounds down range with it haven't had a chance to shoot it since. I may just take it to the range and run a few hundred through it and see if it smooths out. If i don't like it ill try a few of the springs and see what happens. I really want to love this gun its very comfortable in the hand and damn accurate. I don't mind investing in it but would hate to have $1000 and take a huge hit when i sell it cause i still hate it.

You don't need to send it Cajun. FiringLine in Marietta has a gunsmith who works on CZ's. I work on my own.

If you want to have Sig SRT like reset, get the CGW SRS kit, and reach reduction kit. But the essentials are the CGW Firing Pin, FP springs, SPGK Springs kit, and hammer. The 85C trigger is a nice addition, but not needed (great to have, however). It all makes a little enough difference individually, when all added up, makes a HUGE difference.

Nice thanks for the recommendation! Yeah i wasn't going to send it out I can install myself used to work for a shop and their smith took me under his wing and taught me everything he knew, even was in the refinishing business for a few years. So what you're really saying is just dump the cash and love it right? :D
