First I would clean it...then sell it and buy a glock.
All good suggestions here but unless I missed it everyone has missed one important detail. CZs are highly social weapons that need several other CZs in their pack to be happy.
I love stock CZs. They are built to be solid, duty guns. A reduced hammer spring for 10 bucks and/or 500 rds down the pipe will do a lot to smooth out OP's trigger.good pistols. but nothing special to me. i guess if you spend enough on it you can make yourself love it. lol
Picked up my first CZ on a whim today. Got a 75 compact p-01 in 9mm. Caught my eye in the shop while playing with another HK, but I kept coming back to it so I took it home wiped it off loaded a mag and shot it. First impression is mehhh don't know what all the hype is really for not really a big fan of the trigger face after shooting it. Put another mag through it and then I was smiling ear to ear hit bullseye every time. But still couldnt get over the trigger face. So I'm asking all you CZ gurus. Best upgrades to do to them? I really want to love it but feel like it's lacking something. I own a bunch of HK's and SIGs so I'm not unfamiliar with DA/SA guns but am I being unfair in my biased initial comparison? Or can I make it that awesome with a few new parts?
Like some folks here said, shoot the heck out of it and the fire control system will all get better. Enjoy it!First I would clean it...then sell it and buy a glock.
